“Fantastic stay!”

First time staying at this hotel and had a great time. It is right in the slowest part of the year for them so there were a few things that we saw that we probably wouldn't have in the peak season but overall it was great. Stayed in the dbl queen poolside, rooms had a kitchen and private deck with plenty of room to move around. Will be back in the summer to soak up the canyon and surrounding area! Would definitely recommend this to other family's, just one of those hidden gems :)

Room Tip: Didn't see anyplace where it would be possible to get a 'bad' room. All have views of so...

“the best place in town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

My family and I have stayed her for the past 10 years and have never had any problems. This is our home away from home. You have to book well in advance. The rooms are very spacious and great for a family of 5. The shuttle stops right in front of the hotel and its right in the vented of town.

“I love this place!”

I loved the Desert Pearl Inn. The decor of the rooms is really lovely (comfy, modern and uncluttered), and having a mini kitchen in the room is perfect for those of us going hiking in Zion National Park. Also, the bus into Zion leaves from just outside which is very convenient. The layout of the rooms around the pool and hot tub, with seats outside the rooms makes it a really great place to relax. It was extremely clean - very high standards. I want to go back!

“DIFFERENT...BUT A GOOD DIFFERENT”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

My husband had a meeting in another hotel in town, but we booked 2 days here based on the reviews. All the good reviews are true. We stayed on the 2nd floor and I could definitely see how the downstairs could be noisy. The room was like a breath of fresh share. Very modern. Very clean. Very comfy.

The PROS: The kitchen area. We had breakfast each morning using the microwave, the toaster oven, the coffee pot with Starbucks! And the refrigerator. The heated bathroom floor. The dimmers on most of the lights. The extra pillows. A decent sized TV. The balcony. We stayed in a premium king riverside.

The CONS: Being off season, there was roofing going on. It was hard to get by them at the front of the Inn. But that is just a temporary thing. Check In was a little strange. I waited a long time before someone came out, but the person was helpful. If stairs are tough for you, don't stay on the 2nd floor. The outside really does not do the place justice IMHO.

Stay here...you won't regret it.

“A splurge in the off-season”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

We've stayed in Springdale many times, but never before at the Desert Pearl because of the expense. We decided to splurge for 2 nights with the off-season rate of $98 for the king poolside. The large upstairs room had a vaulted ceiling, wood floors, and modern decor. There was a comfortable sofa, a dining table with 2 chairs, large desk and chair, and a large flatscreen TV with DVD/VHS player. The kitchenette had a sink, toaster oven, microwave, dishwasher, and large mini-fridge with freezer, as well as dishes and utensils. Everything was spotlessly clean. The living area was not well lit for reading at night. We enjoyed the balcony with two chairs overlooking the pool area. Probably every room has some kind of view to the red rock from balcony or porch. The grounds of this motel are lovely, with large grassy areas. The temperature control in the room was good, but I woke up in the night every time the heater started running. The king bed was extremely comfortable, and the motel was very quiet. The bathroom had a separate room with toilet, bidet, and shower. The sink area was well lit and had a makeup mirror and a hairdryer. The sink area included a small space for a luggage rack and to hang clothing, which seemed cramped. There were also drawers and shelves for storage. The shower head was good and placed high for tall people, and there was plenty of hot water. Wifi reception was okay but not great. We would be willing to pay the off season rate again, though we could get a much lower price elsewhere. But we would not pay the high summer rates.
