I have a hard time giving this place a 3 rating. But I'm trying to be objective about it. Starting with the good: the rooms are clean, quiet and sufficiently large. The location is good; restaurants are nearby and its five minutes (or less) to the entrance to Zion. The views from the parking lot and yards are nice too. The breakfast was a full breakfast (potatoes, eggs, sausage, cereal, yogurt, toast) and pretty good. The lady doing the breakfast was friendly and helpful. The price was pretty reasonable too.
Now the bad: the first morning, there was hardly any water pressure (not enough to take a shower). The manager said it was probably because everyone was taking showers at the same time. The maintenance man was off that day, so they couldn't check. She offered to move us to another room, but since we needed two beds we decided not to. If we had been staying for longer, we probably would have switched. The next day, the water pressure was better, enough to take a shower, but just barely. And the mattresses were a little soft; they kind of felt like foam.
Unless they get the water issue fixed, I'm not sure I'd stay here again. The water issue makes it really hard to give this place a glowing review. If they fix the water, I definitely would.
If you are going to stay here, request a room that is not in the 'B' building.
Room Tip: Avoid building 'B'
