I have booked one night at this motel via Orbitz. Our plans changes and we decided to stay another night at the lodge. I had to call 3 times to make the reservation.
First time I called it took 20 min for me to explain that I need to book one more night. Then the person I talked to said he is very busy and he will call me back. I waited for 2 hours and called back myself. He said he is still busy. I waited another 2 hours, called again and insisted to make a reservation.
We checked in late and were asked to come by the desk next day because we may need to move to another (smaller) room.
Next day it took another 20 min for the man to tell me to which room we should move.
That’s very slow and unfriendly customer service.
Rooms: first one was old and moldy (I couldn’t bring myself to take a shower). Second one (located in a separate building in the back) was OK by motel standards.
BTW, there was a “breakfast” which you can’t even call basic: Juice, very watery coffee, bagels and toaster – no cream cheese or any jam except grape. Most people toasted bagels or bread but brought everything else with them.
Rooms are old and dirty (for $125 October), it is a pain to book a room - I’ll search for another option next time.
