“Excellent choice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

Easy connection to beltway despite construction of elevated transit and somewhat congested neighborhood. Near first-class malls, restaurants. Beautiful structure with attractive lobby and indoor courtyard open for eight stories. Clean rooms with two flat-screen TV's and good bedding. Bedroom area quiet. (All units have two rooms.) Clean, bright first-rate bath. Fridge-microwave-sink combo. Free breakfast buffet and omelets cooked to order. Free cocktail hour. Beautiful pool and excercise area. Easy, lighted free parking. Excellent service. Standby shuttle to almost anywhere. Price was a steal for this area.

Room Tip: Lower levels could pick up noise, especially in the front room (all two-room suites).

“Very nice hotel”

Highly recommended. Great staff, excellent rooms, very good breakfast bar, wonderful service. Stayed here 3 days for a business trip. Nice architecture too. Easiest wireless service I've ever hooked up to. Close to restaurants and shops. About 30 minutes to Dulles in a straight shot. There currently is a lot of construction for the train that bottles up traffic, no fault of the hotel, and that will disappear when the project is completed. ( I gave only 4 stars for the location because of the train project; but it was a minor inconvenience.)

“Wonderful Property for DC Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

My family and I stayed here Thanksgiving week end. We had three suites. Arrived on Friday after seeing some of the sights in DC and checked out on Sunday morning after a wonderful breakfast.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and staff. It was perfect for a DC visit. Once we marked our vehicles (no extra fees for parking) we did not get in them until it was time to head home.

The hotel shuttled all ten of us anywhere we needed to go. They dropped us off at Olive Garden for dinner...took us to the subway station any time we wanted to go.

The rooms are large and very clean. We had four younsters with us and they could not do enough. The pool area was crowded but it was a holiday week end. The king size beds were wonderful. The kids slept in the living room area and had their own tv at night....

A full cook to order breakfast was included both mornings as well as a happy hour...we had a great time....the hotel made it so easy for us to get the most out of our stay.

They had subway maps and were always there with suggestions and tips.

Great value also...a bit out of the city...but was never an inconvenience!

Room Tip: All rooms face the courtyard...so all rooms are about the same. The executive suites are a bit larg...

“Not your cookie cutter hotel”

Loved the hotel, so beautiful and enjoyed the marble shower and bathroom. Only downside was it was a pain to find because of the construction right outside
