Stayed here while touring around Washington
good location, shuttle to Metro and return
rooms of good size, extremely clean and comfortable
staff more than accommodating
super breakfast anyone would be happy
cost very reasonable for that area
wireless worked very well
only draw back no restuarants in immediate area so had to drive or take cab

I'm fairly well traveled and have stayed in 5 star hotels and have stayed in 1 star hotels. The two things you can count on from the majority of Comfort Inns are that it will be clean, and it will be cheap. The Comfort Inn Tysons Corner was no exception. It was the cheapest "brand" option in the area. Definitely an outdated room, but clean. The front desk was helpful enough. My only complaint about my stay, and this is out of the control of the hotel, is that I asked what dinner options were within a short walking distance. There were two options: Ruth's Chris and McDonald's. Unless you have a large meal budget, definitely make sure you have a car if you stay here.

A very aged facility that is clean and staff are very nice, rooms really need to be renovated, mine had some paint work done and after 4 nights the smell is still there.
If you want a cheap room that is clean and really dont care about being in a 70's type of a hotel sourrounding than this is an OK.
A word of caution- their shuttle policy really sucks and they are not flexible on times at all, I needed to go to classes 5 minutues away which started at 8:00am the only way I could make that was to catch the 7:00 shuttle and wait around for an hour, trying to get an exception was impossible even if the shuttle was just parked and the driver standing around. I would have walked however with the metro construction going on the main road that makes it impossible to cross the road past the construction sites.
I ended up walking to the Embassy suites and getting a ride with some classmates.

What a place! Room rate was excellent, efficient front desk, good rooms with free wifi. Manager's reception with food and drink 2x a week that could substitute for a dinner, free BBQ once a month. Free breakfast with bagels and waffles etc. Rachel Benedict was super manager and host for our stay. Two friends stayed in separate rooms and agree!! Highly recommend.
