This hotel was very nice. Great rooms, great service, and extremely close to Tysons (without the extreme price tag most hotels in the immediate area have). The only negative was the noise. It wasn't loud neighbors or people in the hallway - it was random odd sounds. For example, it sounded like a loud crash of metal 3 or 4 times during the night. Other odd sounds included what sounded like rattling pipes. Maybe all of this was because my room was next to the elevator. It was definitely not a reason to not come back -- this is my go-to hotel in this area for now on!
My only beef was the way in which the hotel blocked amounts on my Visa for incidentals. I paid for the room in advance as part of a nonrefundable deal, so upon arrival, it was only for incidentals they needed my card. My only incidental was parking ($5.25). Yet, I had three separate charges on my Visa of almost $60. When the final amount cleared, it was correct, so it was all good, but it was a bit frustrating to have a handful of small charges keep popping up on my account over the course of 24 hours, even though I wasn't spending any money. If they were going to block $60 or whatever for incidentals, doing it in one charge, instead of several smaller charges over the course of 24 hours would've made more sense and would've stressed me out less.
