“New and Improved”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

I stayed for three nights in this newly renovated extended stay hotel. The decor is beautiful and the property is in an excellent location -- easy access to major expressways, great shopping and plentiful dining. I stayed in one of the two-story penthouses, and the price was good for what I got. The property was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again, and I would encourage others who need an extended stay property to check this one out.

I have stayed at other Residence Inns, and this is a good one with the recent facelift.

“One of the Best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 November 2011

I stayed here for two weeks. This has been one of the best hotels I have stayed so far.

The Hotel as such is beautiful and so are the rooms. I liked the facilities, especially at the kitchen which had almost everything. There was free internet, but with no wi-fi. Wi-fi could be obtained by request and the staff were really great. The breakfast menu was a good one and we liked the muffins the most. The hotel also holds special dinner for many occasions. The hotel is also close to Target, Best Buy and the Tri-county mall. For large groups, the upper floors are the best as they are duplex rooms.

The TV is not a LCD which is ok, the hotel is also close to the highway and some rooms might be able to smell the exhaust of all the cars zooming on the highway.

Room Tip: Some Upper floor rooms are duplex, Detergent for the laundry is complimentary,

“It's ok”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 August 2011

Good location, big bed, A/C little bit noisy - I had to turn it off in the evenings. Good breakfast. Internet connection working fast, however only hot wire is available. No Wi-fi. Close to restaurants and shopping centre.

“Property is showing it's age.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 June 2011

As you can see from my other contributions, i stay at a lot of Marriott properties. So ii have a good knowledge of whats new old and on its way to change.

These old style "Condo" RI's are up to 25 years old. So it's no wonder that some of them are showing their age.

Furniture in our building 7 rooms was getting warn. Closet doors don't slide well anymore, dresser drawers don't slide out right, or slide all the way out into an 8 year olds lap.

When last we visited, the place was winterized, so this visit the pool is open the patio is in use. The water is clean and warm, Jacuzzi is blowing bubbles fine. The staff offers evening meals Monday to Wednesday, Seems like a cookout of burgers and brats every Wed, a mix of pasta or chicken dishes the other two nights.

Breakfast is the usual assortment of continentals, the scrambled eggs are fine, the potato selection seems to rotate every three days, and so does the choice of meat. Now this doesn't seem like a big deal, but if you are here for 7 days to a month, it makes all the difference.

We had two lower level single rooms with queen beds and pull out couches, again these were not purchased yesterday, but everything in the kitchen was clean and nothing smelled.

I am completely spoiled by flat panels in even the most cut rate hotels, so the tube TV without the ability to plug my Laptop in and play a movie for the kids was a MINUS. Also the on demand box was shorting out, they came and fixed it twice.

We stayed 7 nights. So we had a chance to test drive the staff and the property. A large mall, grocery, and 3 levels of dining are all within 5minutes. The freeway is out in the front yard, so you are on it and back into town in a minute.

We are 10 minutes from the gym my kids came to camp at, but there is another RI 10 minutes farther away in Blue Ash, given the choice we'll try that property next time.

Everything is clean, the staff was 95% friendly and they all tried real hard.

The good stuff: very good spread at the free breakfast buffet, great shower, nicely stocked kitchenette, comfortable bed

The bad stuff: very weak toilet, very small barhroom, old dirty light switchplates and doors

Overall, not too bad
