I stayed here for one night on a business trip. When I checked into the room, my key didn't work. That wouldn't itself be an issue, but when I went back downstairs, the sole person on duty actually gave ME a hard time for the inoperative key. So then I go back upstairs and the key doesn't work AGAIN! Same time-consuming and humiliating trip to the front desk, same poor service attitude and finally get a third key - which works.
So now I go into my room, exhausted from a long flight and ready to get some rest for big meetings next day, and this so-called non-smoking room REEKS of tobacco. Again, maybe not the hotel's fault, but the response was dreadful. They gave me an incredibly hard time to change rooms. But it doesn't stop there! Once again, down to the front desk to get a new room (this time the key worked) and can you believe it, the SECOND room also smells like smoke. Not smoking in the distance, but freshly burned tobacco. Now the front desk folks are giving me a hard time like all this is my fault - when I never once complained or displayed poor attitude.
When I finally got to a decent room where the key worked and there was no tobacco smell, I was exhausted and passed out. Didn't have a chance (and wouldn't have dared) to complain about the USED water glasses in the bathroom, the still-damp (also used?) towels on the rack and the soft springless bed.
Maybe your luck will be different than mine (although a lot of people seem to be having issues with this property lately). But I have a choice in travel and I'm never setting foot here again!
