We were in an accident on the 24th of Aug. We needed a room close to the hospital due to having Surgery in the morning. The Super 8 had only 1 room showing available but were able to find us 2 more rooms ( booked through Hospital services) The room wee neat clean and we slept very well. We did appreciate the extra effort this motel made to accommodate us in our emergency situation Well done

The safe fee is a money-making scheme on which this location, along with a number of other Super 8 Motels owned by this group, relies. The staff is instructed to not ask or bring attention to the $1.50 safe fee applied to each guests bill. Under no circumstances is the staff to ask the customer up front if they plan to use the safe, nor are they allowed to ask at check-out if the guest used the safe. Most times it goes unnoticed by the guest, allowing Super 8 Motel to collect the $1.50. If you multiply that by 200 rooms on a sold-out weekend, then multiply that by the number of locations this particular group owns.... That's a lot of money.

Made a reservation 3 days prior to my arriva, booking hotel/mortel seemed normal. Day of my trip to Walla Walla, I called the Super 8 to confirm my reservation and to inform them that I would not be arriving until later that evening. My reservation was confirmed and told that I had nothing ot worry about. (Knowing that it was an extremely busy weekend I wanted to double check that my reservation was valid before I began my 3 hour drive). Upon arrival to the Super 8, I give the front desk clerk my information including my reservation # that was provided. Long story short there was "over booking error" and I was stuck without room. At this point on Saturday night there wasn't a single vacancy left in the town of Walla Walla. I was offered a "comp" for a future vist to the Walla Walla Super 8 and had the pleasure of driving 60 miles to Kennewick where I was checked into a room with no issues. Besides my experiance with the Super 8 it was a great weekend spending time with the love of my life.

Bed reasonably comfortable - check
Internet worked OK & free - check
Quiet - check (except HVAC unit was a little noisy)
No bad smells - check
Continental B'fast OK - check
When requested at beginning, did not apply safe fee - check
Did not retain deposit when we left one night early (of 3) - check
All in all a very good high-value, few frills motel
