Made reservations 3 months prior to stay. Confirmed reservations 5 days before driving 6 hours. Checking in, Desk Clerk said our credit card was denied. Impossible - now that we are here we can correct the mistake and full fill our reservation. To be told - Inn was full and our room had been taken. Called credit card company immediately. Our credit is in good standing, no record of anyone calling to check on our credit, no record of any calls asking approval of credit card. Credit card company would like to talk with the desk clerk or manager, who was not on site. Talking would make no difference at this time and we had to find a place to stay. The Best Western next door was full but they were more than helpful in finding us other accommodations. Where we used the credit card that La Quinta had denied. Try Best Western next time..

After a long drive we were pleased with our check in, Our room was clean and quiet. Breakfast made for an easy departure. For the price we were pleased. Grateful for a business center that offers use of a computer. Simple and Clean all we needed for a nite. Appreciated refrigerator and microwave. Even used cardio equipment..I remain skeptical of reviews who's author has only one review . Fot the price this was a good deal for us.

I am a regular customer of the la Quinta in Walla Walla, i have been staying here for quite a few years. New management has taken over as of March 2011 and the hotel has improved immensely. New improvements have been made inside & outside of the hotel. The rooms are clean,quiet and well presented, along with the outstanding customer service that the staff provides.The hotel is also in walking distance to a close restaurants, and downtown.The breakfast has a lot to offer, and the pool and hot tub open 24 hours. I will keep staying here, for as long as i am traveling to Walla Walla. Would recommend La quinta to anyone traveling to Walla Walla!

We were given a room with dirty towels in the closet and close to the noisy ice machine. We requested another room and the manager quickly put us in a nice room down the hall with a pleasant view of trees and the old train tracks (not used). He was very apologetic. The rooms are older but clean. No frills but the beds are comfortable. The hot tub is small but the jets are great and the temperature perfect. The lobby is nice and the breakfast is good with waffles and hard-boiled eggs for a bit of protein. Generally it was an OK place to stay if you didn't plan on spending a lot of time in the room.
