We felt important and very welcomed by the front staff. The receiptionist was very nice, informative and consistently smiled.

We found the hotel to be very quiet and cozy. The Housekeeping staff were also very nice and helpful. The room was spacious and had all necessary emenities (microwave, refridgerator, coffee pot, wireless internet). The bed was comfortable and I LOVE THE PILLOWS!

Our stay was very pleasant. We will definitely come back!

I really like visiting the Jameson Inn. I have been there several times. The staff was wonderful and courteous. The hotel has such a cozy atmosphere. The staff go out there way to make sure you feel like you are at home. I admired this hotel when I first visited it and then when I met the staff I knew I would be coming back. It is also located in a very nice area. It is located across from the shopping mall and restaurants. I give this hotel 2 thumbs up.

the Vicksburg visitor center recommended the place and we decided to give it a chance - since we also had a discount coupon for the night; the hotel advertises that they have wireless internet in the rooms but when you get there you find out that there coverage only in the main building;
the hotel was practically empty - so we asked the check in rep Kelvin to give us a room with internet since i had work to do but he assigned us knowingly to a room without wireless coverage and refused to change the room when we discovered that there is no coverage; we should have left right then but i was very tired.
at checkout we discovered that he attached both our coupon and the credit card number to a different room - it took more than an hour to check out because Makita could not modify the folio had to get management help over the phone from management.

Ok, this was a good price. It was fairly clean...nothing to complain about really. The business center computer did not work well. ..so it was as if it did not have a business center. The staff was not much help suggesting restaurants. The tourism rep at the National park was not much better. Their map for restaurants was impossible to read. We wanted to go somewhere special but gave up and ate at a Cracker Barrel close by. We had a hard time finding things. There were several detours and areas under construction...so we did not see parts of the National Park. We never did make it to the State VC down on the river..because of detours. So we gave that up also. the "outlet" mall ..very small was next door.
