Great location, like every hotel in Waikiki there is a street noise problem (I was on the 13th floor in an Ocean Front room). The rooms are tiny (which is no surprise if you look at the photos on the hotel website), and feel even smaller because of the two double beds. The room was clean, I couldn’t hear any noise from the adjacent rooms. The air con unit in my room was quite loud and blew water on me every time I went out onto the balcony.
It was an easy walk to the ‘Football Express!’ shuttle bus for the Pro Bowl. Staff were all friendly, being a small hotel you never have to wait long for an elevator.
I would happily stay here again, it is in the ‘busy’ end of Waikiki but just outside the really hectic part which I found perfect.

The current Waikiki Beach works had virtually no impact on my view, they are working in a very non intrusive way.

Cons: no lobby, no pool, no restaurant,no king sized beds (?), tiny selection of pay-per-view movies (which turned out fine, cuz they cost almost $18??) - and lastly, the only "con" I really cared about was the sub par cleaning of the bathroom countertops. Ucky.

Pros: Oceanfront room was perfection (room 1304 to be exact....& since when do hotels have 13th floor)?? The room was a good size, but of course oddly configured -- it's the shape of a circle, what do you expect? Lol.

For us, being directly across the street from Kuhio Beach was perfect. My husband pulled is surfboard out of the hotel's locker, and was in the water within 5 minutes. We rented chairs & umbrellas from Beachboy Aki everyday, and could not have been happier.

For the right price ($150 for ocean front) we would happily stay here again.

The Waikiki Circle Hotel is located directly across Kalakaua Avenue from Waikiki Beach. The hotel has been recently renovated so that it has a bright, up-beat, family-oriented presentation. The staff are uniformly pleasant and friendly. The Waikiki Circle Hotel is particularly well situated if you intend to walk the Waikiki area which includes beaches, an aquarium, zoo, Kapiolani Park, Diamond Head, and numerous high end to medium shopping venues. The area's restaurant selections are nearly limitless. This is an area where you can be doing something every minute or just relax on the beach. Rooms have balconies, refrigerators, coffee makers, large screen TV and Internet connectivity.

Excellent location just across from Waikiki Beach, very convenient for everything, just a few steps to MacDonald, money saving for breakfast. ABC stores nearby. Trolley bus stop across the street, a couple blocks away for bus stop going to Diamond Head, Zoo. Walking distance to Food Pantry for grocery, fruits, salads, sandwiches etc.
Staying at the beautiful ocean front room was a wonderful thing. Room & bathroom are small but it has everything, sitting at the balony with such a great beach view, watching beautiful sunset. You just love it.
You won't mind to pay for more for the ocean front room, it's worth it. It's even better going for higher floor if it's available.
There is a restaurant "Eggs & things" at the hotel, Crepe is excellent. Long line up each morning. I ordered take out, ate at the room balony, enjoying the great beach view.
Overall, I love this little hotel, sure will come back next time in Waikiki.
