Enjoyed our stay as the location is ideal, being across the road from the beach. Good value for money and we had no complaint about room size. We stayed on level 24 with views over Diamond Head, the breakfast set up was a bit unusual but fun. Elevator system worked well once you got used to it. Would stay here again.

This hotel is great for guests wanting to be near the beach without the extreme prices of the brand hotels. I enjoyed my recent stay since the food, the room and the service was all above average. I would return there again anytime.

Absolutely brilliant view. Room is adequate and unpretentious but a coffee maker would have been nice since there's no room service. It's literally right across from the beach so there's no better location. Also right across the streets from the zoo for kiddies.

For all the negative reviews we read on the elevator system, breakfast on the beach and small rooms;.......The elevator system is flawless and simple!; Breakfast on the beach (should be called "continental breakfast") is plentiful, fresh, never any lineups, alway being refilled and can go through the line as often as you wish!; We had OF, King Bed, 14th floor and would not consider it a small room at all!

Yes the hotel is dated, but it's clean. The staff is very friendly and hepful. You couldn't ask for a better location, directly across from the beach!

There is truly nothing to complain about, especially for value/location. All the negatives that we read are not warranted.
