A group of 18 stayed at the Regency over Christmas. It was great and worked well for our group. We had five 1 bedroom suites and found the property very accommodating. It was very clean, spacious, well staffed, adequate parking and a perfect location on Waikiki. The pool at the Reef was beautiful and very close. We would highly recommend this property. It was well priced and didn't have those "extra person" fees that can kill the budget. The full kitchen and spacious bathroom were great and the privacy the 1 bedroom suite offered was nice as we had our 20 and 22 year old sons with us. One slept on the hideabed and the other on an air mattress on the floor. The maid even made up the bed on the air mattress each day. I thought that was really nice. The bedroom had lots of dresser and closet space so you can really unpack and feel "moved in". The balcony was huge and offered a nice view from floors 2, 3 and 4. The complimentary juice and coffee in the lobby were nice perks and enjoyed by all. We would definately stay here again.

this place was nothing short of AMAZING !.we arrived christmas eve at 10:30 pm local time and were shown to our room with no delays.we travelled with 2 young teenage boys and my mom-the two bedroom apt was perfect.the beds were super comfy and so were the pillows.the ABC store downstairs was c o n v e n i e n t!...we used the kitchen many times during the two weekswhich saved lots of$$$$$$$$$.always had lots of cold drinks ,snacks and some full meals.the large fridge also had a super ice maker...very important. we had a rental car and enjoyed it immensley...but wasnt necsssary. everything immaginable was within walking distance. the outrigger reef had lovely ammenities which we used several times a day. also only a two minute walk away.anyone who DOESNT like this place must have rocks in their head! perfect for families,couples....anyone. great value for the money. we would highly reccomend this condo-hotel to all. thank you OUTRIGGER REGENCY !...THE GREENS N.B. I booked the Outrigger Regency on Beachwalk as it was my 3rd trip to Honolulu, and knowing how far most hotels in the area are from the beach, decided that beachfront was not needed.
The Staff were great in helping me get a room early as my flight arrived into Honolulu from Sydney at 7am. By the time getting to Waikiki it was only 8am, and check-in is not til 2pm. I got a room straight away and it was fantastic.
My room ended up being right opposite the elevator, which i thought might become noisy at night with people coming in at late hours.. But i didnt notice much noise as i wasnt disturbed.
Having a 1 bedroom apartment was great due to the full kitchen. I didnt make use of the stove, but i stocked the fridge with some breakfast and the freezer with some naughty goodies.
The bed was so comfortable, and the lounge is even better than the bed, as i fell asleep one night on the lounge and woke up around 3am to realise i was still on the lounge and not in the bed. That was how comfy it was.
The location is great, as it is not stuck between all the other hotels, but only a short walk to most. I am a big Hard Rock Cafe fan - and this location was great as it was only a 1 minute walk to the cafe from the hotel. There is also a 7 eleven only a 2-3 minute walk aswell on the same Street.
The beach at Fort de Russy park is only about a 3-5 minute walk, and was the place i watched my first amazing sunset from for the trip.
The hotel had everything i needed, comfortable room, updated furniture and fixtures and great staff. I would stay here again next time i go.

Location, location, location! This place was awesome for our needs with a short walking distance to: Outrigger for the pool, the beach, Fort de Russy Military park, surfing and stand up paddle boarding (lessons and rentals), shopping, and FOOD! We were able to find everything from fresh fruit at a local stand across the street to a quick inexpensive sandwich to a nice sit down meal, all within quick walking distance. We took the bus (several stops close by) several times to get to places far enough not to walk but not far enough to drive to and were very pleased with the public transit system. The kitchen in the unit was PERFECT for breakfast and for reheating those leftovers (helps save a little $$). The staff was extremely friendly and courteous - over our two week stay we got to know a couple of the staff and looked forward to sharing our day's adventures with them and asking their advice on things to do or places to go. The bedrooms were very inviting with the cozy lighting and comfy beds. The bathroom was conveniently located right between the two bedrooms; a short distance from either room in the middle of the night. We loved the over-sized shower with the beautiful tiling - the water pressure and temperature was great, no complaints there. One of our favorite things about our stay at the Outrigger Regency was the POG (Pineapple Orange Guava) juice they kept on ice in the lobby - it was ready and waiting for us every morning as we stepped off the elevator! We did rent a car and never once worried about the car in the parking lot as a member of the staff seemed to always be around keeping an eye on things. All in all, we had a great time there and would highly recommend to friends and family. Extra Bonus: We collect Starbucks mugs from various locations, and there is a Starbucks in the Outrigger where the pool is located! So if you are addicted to Starbucks or collect the mugs like we do, you can fulfill your needs within a quick 3 minute walk down the street!
