The people at this hostel were so welcoming it was unbelievable. I had the best time there and have made friends that I will hopefully keep for a long time! It is literally a few minutes walk to the main beach and they arrange amazing varied trips all around the island. The rooms and the bathrooms were clean, and if there was any problems, they fix it straight away. It's a relaxed cosy hostel where you can have a group atmosphere if you want it, or relax alone.I would definitely recommend this hostel and stay here again!

STAY HERE! The best LOCATION; only a minutes walk to Waikiki Beach! The friendliest, helpful and most informative management & staff. The rooms and bathrooms are uber clean with brand new Ikea beds! The free brekkie, free bodyboard and snorkeling gear hire and free Wifi on all floors and rooms is a godsend. There are daily free activities organised by the hostel too. I had a great time here; you'll come as strangers but leave as friends! There's a good vibe here, stay here with confidence.

Stayed here for a week, then returned for 3 nights after traveling to other islands.
I had a great time here. The staff and other travelers were a great group and we had tons of fun. There's always something going on. Made some great friends. Miss them already.
Location can't be beat.

The Polynesian Beach Hostel is the perfect place to stay at when on a budget in Hawaii. But not just that, you will meet people from all over the world, people that might become your friends and that you´ll have an amazing time with. The hostel provides tours and other activities, which are a perfect opportunity to see the island and socialise. The prices are fair, the staff is friendly and helpful, its pretty clean and the location could hardly be any better. Quiet time is 10 pm and it usually also means quiet.

You must remember though that it is a hostel, not a 5-star hotel!
