“Great Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

Stayed at theCourtyard by Marriott, 7th floor room over looking the pool. King size bed, kitchenette.
Room was made up every day , fresh towels and sheets. Great service.
Concierge were very helpful with booking tours, needed to cancel one at the lastminute and the money was transferred to another tour for us. Nice restaurant attached to the hotel.
THe only downside was the doors that slammed shut after leaving the room.

Room Tip: The higher up the better, it would be a bit noisy if you were on the first floor above the pool.

“Great stay for the money!”

We traveled there in january for 7 nightsdays and it was beautiful. When arriving there, it was unexpected as we walked in. Everything is very well designed and the staff is extremely friendly & helpful. I've never stayed somewhere that was so open and airy, it was amazing! If u have a concern about security then there's absolutely no problem here. The pool is beautiful and the rooms were very well maintained. We had a balcony room on the 11th floor. The king size bed was wonderful but seemed too big for the size of the room. The balcony was great and had awesome views of all the unique city buildings. I will admit that the street noise, as mentioned in other reviews, is a little noisy even late at night but having the ac running really does drown it out. It was a great location as far as walking distance to everything and the local transportation stops right out front for pick ups. If I ever make it there again, I will definitely be making another visit to the Courtyard!

“An old tired hotel”

jwe were very disappointed with the hotel. Room size okay, beds comfortable. Rugs dirty and need replacing. we had to call several times as our air con was very loud or broken. sliding doors on the closet kept falling off. outside patio dirty, small and basically unusable - it was over a noisy street as well. We had a large metal pin that we put thru drilled holes in the sliding doors to act as a lock. How safe is that? Restaurant on site was okay and staff friendly.
No WiFi on rooms and that was a bother.
I would not recommend this hotel unless there is no other way you can afford to stay in Waikiki - and I will be telling this to our travel agent.
it is in a good location and the majority of staff were pleasant and helpful so that helps.

Room Tip: book into another hotel

“Great location, so so hotel....”

Excellent location, closed to beach and shopping attractions. However, hotel rooms were tiny, breakfast poor and overall service was average.

Room Tip: Would go for two double beds vs one king size bedroom, which was tiny

“Average Hotel but Good Location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 February 2012

Hotel was ok but rooms very small. Nowhere really to store your suitcases. We were in the main tower with a poor view of adjacent rooms. This was better than being stuck at the front of the hotel though as extremely busy main road with a lot of noise. Pool extremely disappointing but who needs a pool when you have a fantastic beach 10 mins walk away? Great shopping area with many designer shops, restaurants, coffee shops and bars.

There were a lot better hotels but this one was ok. Good as a base if you don't need to spend much time in it which in Waikiki you do not need to as a great place to visit.

Room Tip: Avoid over looking the main road
