“Great Resort! Great Location!”

Wonderful rooms we were on the 13th floor street view. Great size room I slept better here then I do at home. Well kept resort and friendly staff at all times. I loved the less crowded beach area in our location versus the busy Waikiki beach area which is a short drive away or you can take the trolley from here.
Please take advantage of the concierge service because they are so helpful and they will not pressure you into buying or doing anything that you don't want. Car rentals from them are also cheaper then reserving one on your own and the both times we used them we didn't need any advanced reservations we always received the flat rate of $33 a day from Alamo which is right across the street from the resort. Very easy to get around on the island but remember to take your navigation system with you for they charge a hefty fee to rent one. We didn't use the valet parking with the resort because it was too expensive instead return your car for the night and pick it up again the next morning "ask your concierge to book it separate days if you plan on doing that so that way you have your separate paperwork for pick up daily" or park next door above the Red Lobster for $7 per night or in the Marina parking area at $1 per hour if your just coming back to rest or change for the day.
Must drive to North Shore and eat at Fumis shrimp truck "fantastic farm raised jumbo shrimp fresh from the pond to your plate"
I was stood up by two companies while there: Discount Shuttle was suppose to pick us up to go to the swap meet market waited 45 minutes they never came and after I'd called 5 times to check on our pick up no one picked up the phone to assist me. They will advertise their services cheap in the brochures but they are not reliable. Also, I was stood up by Hawaii Tours bought a rainforest tour from them called the night before to confirm no answer was told by the agent two days before we left for our vacation that someone will pick us up at 7:45am from our resort we waited til 9am no one called and I'd called them 13 times and no one answered my call. Thank goodness I'd booked it through Groupon and explained what happen which groupon in turn issued me a refund right away. This company is also advertising in the coupon brochure so be careful when selecting a tour company. I've learned that it's not worth saving a few dollars go with a well known tour company. Check them out on google before booking.
I'd used Hawaii23 transportation for pick up and drop off at the airport $23 one way up to 4 ppl. This is a great company and they were always on time and friendly. Mark the owner will call you to confirm with you where his drivers are at all times.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor level so you don't hear the busy street noise. We were on 13 and that was g...

Stayed here for one night in January, 2012, and the rooms are full kitchens and very clean as is the entire hotel. Ate at Sorento's at the top of the Ilikai and it was the ebst views you can get in Waikiki, and great food. Customer service was fantastic as well!

Room Tip: Upgrade to the partial ocean view rooms, for an extra 30 dollars or so, well worth it. Go to grocery...

“WONDERFUL RESORT”

I used my timeshare points for this 10 day vacation. It was a combo Birthday/Christmas present for my 13 year old son. He was so thrilled. We had a wonderful stay at the Ilikai... Waikiki Marina Resort. It is such a beautiful place. When you look at it from the outside it looks nice and average but once you get up close and once you enter the resort it's like heaven. It is a very large place with lots of shops in the lower area. It is well kept...so neat & clean. I love the mirrored elevators. The pool area is nice. The lagoon in the back is beautiful...a great place for the kids to enjoy with live fish inside the water. The restaurant on the rooftop was excellent. We had dinner there on Christmas night. All the staff that we encountered were very kind & helpful. The rooms were very comfortable with beautiful linens and and excess of towels and wash cloths. I have been to many resorts before and not been completely satisfied. This one had me completely satisfied. It is located in a great area, as well. You can actually walk to most places of interest or take a short bus ride. I have a cousin who lives about 10 minutes away from the resort so that was wonderful. I got to see him and the family several times. All in all, it was an excellent vacation. I highly recommend the Ilikai...Waikiki Marina Resort ♥

“A Great Place to Stay on Waikiki”

The Waikiki Marina Resort, a Shell Vacations resort on Waikiki is a great place to stay. You are a 10 minute walk from Waikiki beach with great views from your window. It is about a 20 minute walk to the main shopping area of Waikiki. The Shell staff are friendly and very accomodating. The rooms are all studio rooms but can sleep four comfortably and are equipped with cooking supplies in a full kitchen. We love to stay at the Waikiki Marina when we come to Oahu.

Room Tip: Ask for an ocean view room if available

“Nice resort and great location !”

We using our timeshare points with Shells Vacation Club to book this resort. The staffs are very nice and helpful. Valet paking staffs are great ! The room is very clean. The only thing is I wish the room is a little bigger and have separate bed rooms to accommodate for family of 4 , it will be great. Since this room is studio , 2 beds are side by side, We are really together entire stays. the location of this resort is not too far from the airport and international market place. There is plenty of shops like ABC , Starbucks , good restaurants and very close to the beach.
