We thought we got a steal. From the valet parking up front, front desk and services we could not have ask for more. The room was like an efficiency apartment. Comfortable bed, dining table/chairs, granite counter top, dishes, frig, sleeper couch and balcony with ocean view. Location was great, shops and waikiki beach a walk away. For a busy street we were impressed at how quiet it was. The rates, (which we searched around for) were more than great and yes you have to pay for valet parking, but most hotesl in Honolulu charge for valet. Besides, they had our car to us usually within 30 seconds...no joke. Best of all was the service, EVERYONE there had a smile and made you feel welcome. Thank you again Outrigger Luana!

This was on my honeymoon so when I first open the door I was expecting a surprise rather it was a shock. The good: big fridge, LCD tv, iPod dock and an OK view. The bad:a double bed mattress seemed very old as we both felt like we were sinking into the bed and no we are not obese. We had uncomfortable sleepless nights and the streets were noisy we lost count how many times you could hear police sirens going off? The gym is fairly average air-con keeps going off so you had to keep to turning it on and the equipment is pretty average. The front desk staff are pretty dull and not as friendly as you expect them to be. The bell men at front are very nice and chatty though :) always saying hello they make up for bad service at front. Only one shop that's overpriced inside. 2 computers to share amongst all guest :(. In the bathroom you can't bloody turn the taps you will see what I mean if you go to luana. My partner and I think it's overpriced and overall we didn't feel it was clean the place has a weird old smell to it. Not a good experience at all what a shame. We moved to another hotel down the road as we didn't feel comfortable at luana. And not to mention the cutlery was dirty such as knives and spoons it was awful had to buy own cutlery!!

The good: Great location, small kitchen - The bad: double bed, very expensive valet only parking, needs to be renovated - The ugly: stained carpets, strange smells and noisy between rooms. Our stay was average at best.

We chose this over the military hotel right across the street because this hotel had kitchenettes. The room was spacious with a balcony that had beautiful views of the sunsets. Of course that rainbow every afternoon was a nice treat too. Clean room and helpful and friendly staff.
Close to lots of activities
The only caveat was the $25 daily parking fee. We used the military parking lot just around the corner instead( retired, and still watching the budget a bit).
We plan to use this hotel chain again in our future travels.
