Very good food! Lunch is more affordable, but the dinner crew is a little friendlier! Sit at the bar so you can watch them cook the food. Will definitely go back!

It's right across the street from Me BBQ...this block is awesome! Get away from the main stretch of touristy overpriced crap and find some amazing food. I wish we didn't wait until our last night to eat here because there was so much on the menu that we wanted to try. We sat at the counter, which is the way to go. The chefs are entertaining and very helpful...plus you might get to reap the rewards of some of their mistakes :) We had the steak and scallop special, the takoyaki, and the deluxe pizza tama. It was all delicious but the takoyaki wins, you have to try it! We ended up with leftovers of the oknonomiyaki and it made a delicious snack later. Overall we spent less than we did at some mediocre touristy restaurants and had a much better meal. It's right up there with Roy's for me, but since we could afford to eat here on a regular basis, I can't wait to get back to Honolulu and try more of their menu!

I go there every time I visit Honolulu!! I tried their Poe Poe Course (for 2) the first time on my first visit, and it was way too much food for 2 girls, so we had to skip the yummy fried rice.

I highly recommend their MILK PUDDING!!!!!!! It is sooooooo goooood!!!!! I personally like don't like the syrup though. TAKOYAKI (octopus balls) are very good too.

Waiters + chefs are all excellent. :D

We had a delicious dinner at Jinroku tonight. We were sat at the bar where they do the grilling and it was so much fun and just soooo tasty. We also had our 2 year old with us and he loved it too. We had a few of the appetisers and then I had Grilled chicken and my hubby had a steak and they were both really good. It was a little more expensive than I had anticipated but I was so happy with the food that I wasn't bothered by that. We will be going back here at least 1 more time during our stay in Waikiki. The staff were all really friendly and helpful.
