Enjoyed a girls weekend at the Newport Marriott. You can walk to all, shopping and restaurants right out the door. Rooms average size but nicely decorated. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Lobby large and pleasant. Didn't eat here since so many choices of restaurants. We visited the Spa and it was excellent. Had an awesome massage and the receptionist was so friendly. She advised us on great dinner plans!
Will be back!

This is our ninth year going to the Marriott. The rooms are nice and there are plenty of room. We had a room on the fifth floor and it had a patio that runs the entire length of the fifth floor on the harbor side. The rooms have mini coffee makers in the and theres a Starbucks in the lobby. The pool is a nice way to wear out the kids and do something other than hanging around the room. For some reason the employees keep going in and out of an outside door, maing the pool area cold. The hotel is close enough to walk to the downtown area.We had room service for breakfast one day. The food was hot, came quick and was great. There have been comments on this site about the staff being snotty. One desk clerk gave a little attitude, but the rest were great.

Celebrated my 60th birthday there. The restaurant staff was amazingly helpful, friendly, accommodating! Rooms were comfortable and clean. Nice location... You can walk to restaurants, shops.
