A group of us in town for a function stayed at Newport Blues Inn and it's sister property, the Blue Jewel. Everyone enjoyed their rooms and we all met at Newport Blues Inn for a delicious breakfast in the AM. Rooms are spacious and clean. Great beds and all the creature comforts one would expect in a B&B. Staff is very friendly.

I was here a few months ago and had the same great experience. We will all be back!

My second stay at this group of three inn's right in the heart of Newport. Walking distance to the clubs and shops. I will be back again next time I am in town. The beds and linens are divine. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The rooms are very clean and include off street parking.

We stayed in the Blue Jewel Inn- Emerald Suite. The suite was very nice (better than picture), sitting room, bedroom with king bed, large bathroom. We had parking behind inn. Breakfast was served at the Black Duck Inn 2 doors down, fruit, vegetable quiche, french toast, coffee, juices. We enjoyed our stay everything was within waliking distance. Would stay again.

We stayed at NBI on September 10 to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Beautiful weather, so we walked everywhere from the Inn. We did not need our car at all, but we had already seen most of the newport sights. Our "harbor" room was very clean and comfortable, except for a broken shade on the large bay window facing the street. We called as soon as we checked in and then again later that evening, but no one ever came to fix the shade... We used hair clips to fasten things so we'd have privacy and no morning light and It worked ! We took advantage of the Inn's wine and cheese hour as we sat in rocking chairs on the porch of the Blue Jewel Inn and talked to people walking by. All staff were friendly and made great recommendations. Emma was especially pleasant, and made us feel so welcome. We also used the complimentary passes to Newport blues Cafe to walk down and listen to live music.. It was so fun! Morning breakfast at the Inn was a treat.. We met other nice people.. But also saw someone come down to get a "to go" tray for breakfast in bed. May do that next time!
