The house is charming and conveniently located near all major points of interest. However, the walls are quite thin and you can hear what other guests are talking in the next room. The room facing the street is quite noisy and traffic stops late at night.
At 3AM the smoke alarm went off , it seemed for ever! After about 15 minutes two fire fighting trucks came to the house. The hostess knocked on our doors to let the men enter and check the rooms! Terrible! The owners never appologized or offered any gratuity for that night!

Stayed here for two nights earlier this month. We had the room with the additional sitting room. In all this made a really very spacious suite. Very airy rooms in a lovely 18th century house. Excellent location in the middle of the old town but on a quiet street with off street parking - a real bonus in this place. Immaculate breakfast and friendly owners. Would recommend without hesitation. Also liked the fact you can book online instantly which is rare for a B&B.

I can't recommend the Brattle House enough. It was the perfect place to stay for my trip to NWPT.

I've been there once (I'm going again this year) and have recommended Brattle House to my close friends and family and they all LOVED it just as much as I did!
