“Perfect Getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

This B&B is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway: the location is very central to downtown Newport, the rooms and common areas are lovely and spacious, and the service is excellent. We enjoyed spending an evening by the fireplace looking through Midge's books and playing with her adorable dog. We will definitely return and would highly recommend this spot for anyone in New England looking for a few days of relaxation.

“Lovely romantic weekend getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights right after Christmas at the inn and had an enjoyable stay. Midge, the innkeeper, is very welcoming and a great host from the very moment we arrived. She prepared a map of the town for us and gave great recommendations for dinner. The cooked-to-order breakfast in the mornings and the afternoon macaroons were delicious. The room we stayed in, while a bit on the small side, was clean, nice and quaint, and had a double-jacuzzi and in-room fridge. The Molton Brown toiletries were also a nice touch. All in all, the inn was a great place for my husband and I to enjoy Newport on a romantic weekend getaway. We will definitely stay here again.

We returned for maybe our 8th time to enjoy a pre Xmas visit to Newport and the Inn. Everything was perfect. Midge is just the most welcoming innkeeper. Fabulous breakfast, comfortable beds and accommodations. Just cannot find a better inn to visit. Cannot wait or our return in February ,

Room Tip: All rooms are great. The inn is quiet and all rooms beautifully decorated

“Wonderful romantic weekend!”

My husband and I were planning to go away for the first time without kids in many years and after lots of research I chose La Farge Perry House. Boy am I glad I did....we had the most amazing weekend. From the moment we arrived Midge and Jaxi (the adorable dog) were so lovely. Midge was even kind enough to upgrade us when she realized we were on a much needed weekend away.
The weather was remarkable for early December so we were able to see the Breakers and do the Cliff walk. Midge's recommendations for dinner we perfect....we ate at the Brick Alley on Friday and the Mooring's on Saturday. Both were very busy so be willing to have a few drinks at the bar!
The bonus was Midge's macaroon's and breakfast...........they were incredible!
Call the Inn directly so you can choose your room...you won't be disappointed!!!
