We were in town for a volleyball tournament and, although the team was staying at a nearby hotel at a cheaper rate, I chose this place for my family, specifically because of the wonderful reviews of the customer service that we read on here. The room was great, the pool area was well kept, and the breakfast was absolutely wonderful.
I had bought spaghetti for my volleyball girls to fix in the room on the glasstop burners, but the burners wouldn't heat hot enough to boil the water. After about an hour waiting for them to heat up, I called the front desk to see if they had any advice. They said that there must be something wrong and offered me the chance to use another suite's burners. Because our time was limited and the girls had to go to a meeting and then get to bed, and remembering the wonderful customer service reviews I had read on here, I asked if they could save us some time by giving us a voucher for a free pizza at an area restaurant. The desk attendant (and I wish I had asked for her name to giver her specific thanks) said that they would happily buy us a pizza or offered us the chance to go to their suite shop and pick out some microwave meals to fix in our room. The kids wanted that, so we went and picked out some good choices. The kids even asked if they could get some drinks to go with their dinners and the desk manager happily agreed.
I cannot say enough good things about this place. Everything was meticulously clean, comfortable, and, even with the little glitch with the burners, the hotel more than made up for it.
