We stayed at this hotel for a cheerleading competition which was in the attached convention centre. We stayed with 2 young kids in a king room, because the doubles we're all sold out. The management provided a cot no charge as well as included breakfast because of the mix-up. We also used Valet parking.
The room was great, comfortable bed and we didn't feel squished once the cot arrived. We ate in the restauraunt that evening which was good. The buffet breakfast included was also great. There is a pool up on the 11th floor but it is small.
The only downfall was the store in the hotel closing early and not being able to get tylenol (the hotel was completely out as well). As we weren't there to venture out a lot I can't really comment on what's available within walking distance.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo and experience a small issue with the hot water. And WOW, the staff and management jumped right on it and truly cared about me. I will now only stay at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo when I am in town.

Situated downtown in a pretty good area. I found several places to eat/drink around. It is in an old building, but the rooms are up-to-date and everything works fine. I did use the valets, who were very nice but not very fast. One night, there was a huge event happening which made it almost impossible to find a valet and get the car out of my hands. Still, I'd definitely stay here again.

A nice hotel it is down town Buffalo rooms are ok, parking is high but you park accrose the street in a parking deck for 6.00. The breakfast buffet needs work if its free its ok.
