The rooms (suites) are very large, very clean and very confortable with microwave and a kitchinette. Very good and welcoming front desk service. Very well arranged complimentary breakfast. Very much recommendable for the price and services.

We were in Buffalo to visit a family member in a local hospital and to do some sightseeing at Niagara Falls with the kids. This hotel had a perfect downtown location that was near some trendy resturants. The room was large enough for a family and very clean. The kids loved swimming in the pool. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
We stayed at the Embassy for 2 nights just after new years eve to watch a hockey game at the newly named First Niagara Center. We checked in the day before the game and had a great time at the hotel. The breakfast was fantastic with a custom-made omelette station plus other drink stations, ready made scrambled eggs, fries etc. Food was very fresh and the service at the "breakfast room" was very friendly. The cleanliness of the hotel was also impressive including the pool area, room hallways and entrance. The rooms are very large and the hallways are even bigger. I guess the hotel only uses the first 7-8 floors and the remaining upper floors are for condos and stuff.
Another pleasant surprise is that the visiting hockey team (Edmonton Oilers in our case) also stayed at this hotel so we got to see our players outside of uniform also. I understand that the NHL has a contract with this hotel so all visiting teams stay here.
We attended the nightly manager social one night and it was also good with deep fried finger foods plus drinks; alcoholic and others.
I highly recommend this hotel and the only draw back was the $15/night parking fee they charge.
We have been in 12 hotels in 14 days and this is the best Hilton property yet. Skip the Valet and self-park in one of the nearby garages, pocket the $10 you saved and enjoy a better meal. Get to the executive level for the largest 2 room suites in the biz. Staff is warm and friendly and the pool area is wonderful!
We stayed 1 night for New Years Eve to catch a Sabres game. Very well located if you want to walk to downtown (onyl a few blocks) and take the Street-car to the arena along Main St. Its free between the stop at this hotel's street and the arena. The staff was wonderful from check-in to the buffet breakfast. Everyone seems so eager to help out, Tabitha (reception supervisor) went out of her way to get us checked in earlier because one of our 4 kids was really under the weather. The pool and spa are very nice too. Comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Just a wonderful experience!!
