My stay was all right.
Pros: The beds were very comfortable and linens seemed/looked new and were very nice. The lobby is very "homey" and warm and the front desk staff was nice.
Cons: The vent screen on the heater/AC was broken and filthy inside. The bathroom mirror was very smudged and the bathroom floor didn't seem very clean. The corners/edges of the whole room didn't seem clean and that bugs me. Please note that this hotel is right next to train tracks. I brought my own fan and slept with earplugs and didn't hear if it went by or not. Due to the oil boom, this room was very overpriced.

We stayed in the Presidential Suite, just as a christmas present to each other. A little getaway from the hustle and bustle of Williston ND. We had a very nice stay. Whirlpool was great...the fire place romatic. It met our expectations. I would definately go there again!!!

Rooms OK - nice gathering room on ground floor by main entrance. Indoor swimming pool is good but sauna is marginal.

The AmericInn in Medora is very convenient to Theodore Roosevelt park. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. Only problem we encountered was inadequate lighting in the room. The view from the window revealed a house across a narrow street behind the motel. For privacy there was only a room darkening drapery which we kept closed even when the sun was bright outside. An additional sheer drapery or blinds would have been nice. Since there are limited lodging choices in Medora, the rooms here are more expensive than might be expected for this type accommodations.
