I stayed here in December. The attendant at the front desk was really friendly. My room was just $44, which is reasonable for the area. Discount if you are a AAA member too.

Stayed here for one night en route from Nevada to Santa Fe. Since we didn't get into Flagstaff until 11:30, it didn't make sense to spend a lot of money on a room so we chose this place; we had a coupon so it was very cheap. It was decent enough and seemed clean. The room was on the small side but it had free wireless and a fridge. It's not that close to the train, like many other Flagstaff hotels are, so it was quiet. While it was nothing special, I'd stay here again if it were just to catch a few hours of sleep, but I wouldn't choose it for a longer stay.

Large, clean rooms. Beds comfortable.
Breakfast consisted of cook your own waffles, cereal, toast - coffee and tea.
Inexpensive for a family of 5.
We found the staff friendly and helpful.

I reserved a room here because I like the sound of having a bedroom separate from kids. ;-) The reviews I read were mixed but I figured it would be fine for one night. Upon seeing the place first hand we immediately decided otherwise... ...I believe something like, "I'll sleep under the viaduct first" was the first thing to come to mind.

We did ask to see a room, don't judge a book by it's cover and all you know? But It was as bad as it looks from the outside. The beds are small and the mattresses feel about like crib mattress. The place has been freshened up a bit recently but it's very much "Lipstick on a pig". The lobby, were the breakfast is served, was another gas station like area.

Not dirty but very old, musty, yucky. We decided not to stay here but got a room across the street instead. Most of our trip was spent in older hotels, we don't want to spend all the vacation money on rooms but this place is a dump. Think twice and read all the reviews before yo decide on this one.
