While the location of this hotel is awesome, it is in serious need of a deep cleaning and a facelift. I had booked this for my son and his wife using rewards points. As I stay at HIE on business, I was confident they would have a good experience. Unfortunately, this was not the case at this particular HIE. My son and his wife reported that the hotel is very dated and worn. Addtionally, their room was dirty, they had to clean the toilet prior to using it and their were brown stains all over the shower curtain. The carpet was dirty and the linens didn't feel fresh. I am very disappointed.

We stayed here one night on our road trip to Santa Fe. The room was super small (2 queens) and the hotel is definitely worn. The restrooms in the lobby were closed for construction and several areas were cordoned off for construction. The hallways, carpet, and decor are dated but hopefully they are fixing that with repairs. Breakfast is great with a huge selection of fruit, creel, eggs, pancakes, etc - all included in your hotel stay. They also gave us a welcome bag with chips and water and fresh baked cookies. No fridge in room though. Pool is indoors.

This hotel went above and beyond helping me with my priority club points to get accommodations for the evening. They treated me with respect and helped me get things situated by using a phone and computer. They also gave me coffee and breakfast while I worked on it.

On top of that everyone was very compassionate and sincere. I can not say enough good about these people.

While waiting, the computer and phone were in the lobby, I observed the staff going out of their way for everyone.

Holiday Inn Express, Flagstaff, Arizona is a top class place and if you are in the area and need a place to rest I recommend this place.

Misty Cleveland, General Manager and Jimmy Sharp, Assistant Manager have definitely done a great job working together with their staff to make sure every persons stay is excellent. It is a top notch Hotel.

A little cliche's really but staff vere very friendly and the facilities excellent. We were on a road trip so only stayed 1 night. Room was comfortable and clear and breakfast was a good start to the day. I'd recommend it to anyone
