The hotel is very well maintained. Housekeeping is very thorough. The front desk is well-informed about the hotel and their community and are very efficient. Everyone on the hotel team is very friendly and always helpful. The rooms are exceptionally quiet. We didn't notice any road noise, or even know anyone was in the next room until the next morning and they had a very active young child. Heating-A/C very quiet. Always a calm, restful visit.

Stayed one evening while traveling. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. I like the choice of firm and soft pillows. Free WiFi and a nice free breakfast. I will use this hotel again!

After reading reviews of other hotels in the area, my family chose to stay here. The receptionist was very nice. They gave us a little snack bag when we checked in. The rooms were really clean. Flat screen LCD tv with HBO, free wifi, and new style bedding! Plus their breakfast was amazing for a continental breakfast. Omelets, pancakes, muffins, bagels, biscuits, bacon, cinnamon rolls (my kids absolutely loved), cereal, yogurt, bananas, coffee, juices and milks! Good location! NO BUGS!!! My husband had to check under the mattress when we got there because of the whole scare last year! THINGS TO DO: Anyways Stones River Battlefield was great our boys loved the cannons, Cannonsburgh (sp!) village is a nice little old time villiage, Stones River Cemetery was a nice reminder of those who fight for us every day, and the Discovery Center and Wetland Park was an awesome place to take a 1 yr old and 9 yr old. Would stay here again next time we visit Murfreesboro! Good job Holiday Inn Express of Murfreesboro! You changed our view of a lower star hotel! We never stayed in a hotel less than a 4 star and were shocked to see how nice this place was! oh and the beds were super comfy!

Stayed one day and night October 30th. Hotel is right off the Interstate, traffic light made easy access to the main road. Had an appointment at the VA Hospital which was about 10 minutes away but easy to get to. Restaurants close by, Stones River Mall about two blocks away, everything needed is in the area. As with all Holiday Inn properties, this hotel is clean from outside to your room. No odors, in room, clean sheets, carpet etc. Rooms have microwave and refrigerator, flat screen TV's and wireless internet. Comfortable beds, plenty of pillows, desk for your computer and good chair to relax in. You can here the Interstate if the TV is off, but not annoying.Holiday Inn Express may cost a little more, but you get what you pay for. Definitely recommend this hotel if you're in the area. I will stay here next time in Murfreesboro, Tn.
