I booked this hotel through the Days Inn 1-800 reservation # at the last minute (normally, I would do my research first). The hotel was located off a steep ramp below a road. This has to be the worst piece of real estate in Scranton. The lobby was dark, worn, and did not smell pleasant. The employee who checked us in was not the friendlies and did not want to honor their promotional rate. The hallways were dark as well. The room was clean; however, the ceilings in the room - especially the bathroom - were very low. The room made me feel very claustrophobic. The view was the worst ever - a roof with air conditioners, vents, etc. I didn't have breakfast since they only offered carbs - white flour & sugar. I didn't check the pool or other facilities because I was afraid I'd have nightmares. We never left a hotel this early in the morning - ever!
