South Court Inn is where we spent our honey moon as we bought the honey moon package. The grounds were nicely kept up, the inside of the house was beautiful and our room was some what Victorian style. Filled with snacks and the roses were a nice touch. The food we had was a little different than I'm use to but my wife enjoyed breakfast. The only problem I had at South Court was the owner Tom Pott - not hospitable nor a people person. We felt unwelcome from the moment we arrived to the day we left.

We expected a cordial reception as his guests but didn't. My wife felt so uncomfortable at times she dreaded leaving our room or returning to the Inn. He just appeared to be in a bad mood and later an his demeanor was somewhat pleasant but seemed forced. The way he talked to us his quests was like he was better than us and spoke to us as if we were children and we are in our 30's. The massages were the most horrible we had ever experienced my wife was in some pain weeks afterwards. The town, shops and restaurants in and area the Luray area had a delightful ambiance but he made our stay anything but welcomed. This is why my family will not be returning to South Court Inn. If you stay I hope you have a different experience perhaps stay in the cottage out back or don't attending breakfast.

I eloped here and they absolutely went out of their way to make our day so special. They were so great ever that they moved the wedding outside due to the really nice weather! I could not have asked for a more perfect day!

My husband and I were married by Tom 12/30/2011 and it was the perfect little wedding. We wanted a private ceremony between the two of us and this fit the bill and then some. I couln't stop smiling through the whole thing! The proprietors were efficient, friendly, helpfull and we had a great time. The atmosphere, decorations, flowers, photos, cake, and other amenities were fantastic. We even had our "official marriage" certificate in hand the same day. I am confident we will return someday soon. The hosue and surrounding area is so beautiful. By the way, folks, Tom is a fabulous cook. L-U-C-K-Y, Anita, right?

We chose the South Court Inn to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast, and boy were we spoiled! The Potts Family made our stay so special. They are very caring people. The food was scrumptious! Our room was lovely! Did I mention the food? Yummy! We will definitely return again.
