I've been in Marriott's Rewards program since its inception and have spent the equivalent of a year and a half in Marriott property rooms. Even after little business travel for the past two decades, I still have more than a half million points.That should qualify me to say that this is one Marriott property that badly needs a facelift. From stained and frayed carpet to chipped moldings and furniture, the place just looks worse for the wear, certainly not what I expect from Marriott. And to add insult to injury, they only gave me half points for my stay. On the plus side, this hotel is very well situated if you need to be out and about in Santa Fe and not just in the city center.
