The Residence Inn Santa Fe was overall decent, but it seemed like the king studio suite we stayed in was partially renovated. The furniture had been upgraded, but the appliances in the kitchen were quite old. Hotel prices are always high in Santa Fe, so it seemed like a lot for a mediocre Residence Inn. This Residence Inn features the older style of exterior entrances, and there was some ice and snow on the walkways, which make it more difficult to navigate with heavy luggage.

Nice hotel, nothing special. Good location and friendly staff. Happy hour in the evening is just M-W from 5-6:30pm, should be a bit longer if you ask me. Breakfast very basic, not much to it.

Rooms not very modern, furniture a bit old. I did experience A LOT of static electricity when I went to bed... my hair was standing up, not sure what that was all about... but it was too late to call down to front desk and change rooms.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Until this trip my experience with Mariott properties had always been really positive. The room was incredibly out dated and in poor condition. 25 year old kitchen, noisy refrigerator that sounded like a broken fan when the compressor kicked on in the middle of the night, cabinet doors that didn't close, shower that didn't drain, sink that didn't drain, etc. TVs and furniture was old and obsolete and should be replaced.
The location was great and it is great that pets are allowed, but that would not be enough to have me return before it is entirely refurbished.

This property is a very average property. This property should be updated and the beds should be improved to real Marriott beds. The food is not good at all. The coffee should be improved.
