My husband and I visited Santa Fe this Christmas and stayed at the Inn on the Paseo, a really nice and cozy B&B 0- (18 rooms) -- some with fireplaces - really warms the room in both real warmth and atmosphere. Innkeeper was very friendly and helpful in all ways - breakfast big and more than filling, wine and hors d'ouvres in the afternoon -- cozy fireplace in front room.
4-5 blocks to the Plaza, or free shuttle to anywhere in town, with a very informative driver.

We overheard another couple saying this was their third visit to the Inn, so it is obviously a very good place to stay, with all the amenities in their sister hotel, and very reasonable prices for Santa Fe. We will be back. Thank you, all.

If you want all the big hotel amenities, this is not your hotel. If you want a fabulous Sante Fe experience with an amazing breakfast, this is your place. The service was wonderful and the location is walking distance to the town. They do offer a shuttle, but we never needed it.

Great place to stay. My wife and I shared our 2nd anniversary and were delighted to find this wonderful hideaway! Joylene meade us feel welcomed and was very attentative to our needs. There were no discrepancies on our reservation, the room was well stocked and very inviting. Great location close to the plaza. buffet style breakfast with delicious made-to-order waffles........YuMMMMM!! I would recommend The Inn on Paseo to anyone who wants a little peace and quiet in an otherwise hectic

After encountering some automobile damage on our vacation, we took a chance on a previously sight-unseen, unknown (to us at least) hotel for the evening. Tucked away on a back street near the Plaza, our first impressions were skeptical. Reading directions in the dark, using a flashlight, on how to reach your room was interesting, to say the least. However, we were quickly won over by the charm of the houses-turned-to bed and breakfast. The rooms are decorated in charmingly different ways, offering a unique ambiance. While our room was fairly small, it was clean and comfortable. One note...the room above us had wood floors rather than carpet...we could hear the people above us....each and every footstep they took.
However, on the plus side, what really tickled us was the offer of a free shuttle service from our bed and breakfast to our choice of sights in and around the Plaza area. The first vehicle to shuttle us around was a reconditioned British Taxi. The driver was timely and friendly...very much appreciated when the temps had dropped so low that night. The breakfast served in the morning was wonderful. While the fare was somewhat standard for B and B, the presentation was wonderful. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful.
This is quite the little gem hidden away right near the plaza.
