It doesn't matter how many stars a hotel/motel has, ALL of them have the normal stuff: beds, bathrooms, tv, desk, chairs etc. This hotel has no desk; instead where the desk should be, is a large empty space. Seems to me that the hotel is too lazy to provide the basic amenities in the room. If you're here to plop down and sleep, I'm sure it's fine, but if you have a family in the room and everybody's gotta do something different, this hotel would be very bad for you.

We chose this property because of the TA comments, price and being dog friendly. We were pleasantly surprised at the renewed furnishings, wall coverings and carpeting. The staff was uniformly friendly.
It is located on the Santa Fe's main drag from the interstate to the old part of town. Thus, it is not convenient to the Plaza and environs.
The continental breakfast was less than no frills. The eating area was small.
The pool was very small, basically in the parking lot and was not open.
We felt we received good value for our money

My husband and I recently stayed at the Red Roof Inn in Santa Fe, NM. We "happened upon it" late at night hoping to find a place with a good deal. It was right on the street coming into town on HWY 14, nestled between other higher priced places. It was the price on the sign that caught our eye. Our room was spacious, VERY clean and smelled good! That sold me. And the price for a king bed was less than $50! Our ammenities included hair dryer, microwave, refrigerator, and continental breakfast. Staff was very personable and it was nice to see the housekeeper keeping the area clean where breakfast was served. It was obvious that the people who worked there cared and took pride in their work. We were so pleased that we stayed again a couple days later on our way back through town. We'd recommend it to everyone!

My friend and I couldn't have been staying here. The room was very nice, big, and clean. The staff were all very friendly and willing to help when we needed anything. My friend and I were on vacation for two weeks and this was the nicest motel we stayed in. I would recom-
mend this motel to everyone visiting Santa Fe.
