“Home Away From Home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 January 2011

I always look forward to staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Santa Fe, NM. They have top notch customer service. Viviana made me feel right at home with answers to my questions and fresh baked cookies. As a Priority Club member they have a nice touch with a welcoming gift. The rooms are always clean and in order. Breakfast is served every morning and a good selection at that. This is why I feel this is my home in Santa Fe, NM

“Not the Quality You'd Expect”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 December 2010

Holiday Express hotels, are expected to be above average, not this location. I stayed five nights, housekeeper do not speech english and did not service my room the entire stay. I had to request towels, coffee and toiletries everyday. The desk chair was broken, dirty and tour up, yet in the hotel bussiness center they have two new chairs. Also the shower head had two pressure choice, little mist or full blast jets high enough to power wash your driveway. The female brunnette and manager empoyee are very unfriendly. In summery dirty, damaged unwelcoming hotel.

“Questionable neighborhood, not really nice.”

This hotel is on the main road, but it seemed like not a very good area. Very dark location, but nothing bad happened. Just didn't feel as safe as I would like.

It's kind of dumpy and old inside. Rooms are very small. Just enough to fit two queen beds. The chair handles had been so badly scraped by the table top it was tattered.

It had a decent continental breakfast, but ultimately we don't want to come back to this one.

“I was a little sceptical but glad I stayed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2010

After reading some reviews on this hotel, I was a little sceptical but decided
to go ahead and give it a try. It was really nice. The front desk was great --very
competent workers, very friendly, the hotel was clean and nicely decorated,
the room was clean, beds super comfortable. It was quiet and yes, I would
recommend this hotel!

“Pretty sure I'd skip this next time, sorry to say.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 November 2010

We came here for business and brought our two children with us. As a Priority Club member, I was hoping for better. We got the room on Hotwire and I thought it was the Hampton Inn. But I tried to manage my expectations. The room was small. No bedbugs, we checked. Everything is old and worn out, for sure. The beds are VERY soft which is great for me, bad for hubby. The bathroom tub was squeaky (!), the showerhead terrible and I dislike sink faucets that act like showers. But the toilet flushed well, said the optimist in me. The room was clean enough but I tried to overlook things. Our socks were filthy from walking around on the carpet, the bathroom ceiling has been patched and is cracking again and I was imagining in the shower what it would be like to be crushed by the tub above me. The breakfast in the morning is decent if you stick with the Yoplait yogurt, Shamrock Farms milk and Malt-O-Meal cereal. The cinnamon rolls weren't that bad. Coffee was terrible and my boys wouldn't even drink the juices. They said that they didn't taste like either apples or oranges. The bananas were great! However, the dining room was very clean and the staff member was very busy ensuring that food was replaced in a timely manner. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Our car was not broken in to and the elevator and ice machine worked very well. The noise level was not loud and we were not disturbed by any other guests. We might have disturbed a few with our four-year old's crying but hey, that's life. Regardless, we loved Santa Fe and will be back for another business meeting. However, our next trip back to Santa Fe will not see us stopping here.
