We recently stayed in Santa Fe for one week, not at this Inn. However, we were fortunate to dine in the restaurant one evening. I have to say, it was the best meal we had. From the crab cakes, to the achiote coated salmon, to the fabulous warm olive oil cake (plus I was lucky enough to have them send me the recipe, which I plan to make for friends in Kuwait, where we currently reside), the meal could not have been better.
A week later, we dined at Mario Batali's Osteria Mozza in L.A., and they had an olive oil cake on the dessert menu, so, of course, we had to try it. We were told it had won a James Beard award, but there was no comparison with the one at the Inn at Anasazi.
We highly recommend this restaurant!
