We stayed here with a large group for a sports tournament weekend over MLK weekend. We found the staff to be friendly and efficient. The room was average - not a particularly clean bathroom. We had to work a bit to get temperature in the room just righ. It seems like you would simply switch the thermostat to "heat" or "A/C" and the fan to low, medium or high and you're good to go, but surprisingly that wasn't the case. The unit has a delayed response time, so it takes a while for it to blow air that is the temperature you've set. This caused some confusion for us, but we finally figured it out. I used the fitness room while we were there and found the treadmills and eliptical to be in good working order. Fans, TVs and complimentary water cooler in the exercise room were nice. Hotel included free breakfast for our group - it was the standard scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and pastries. I would have liked some healthier choices - maybe some oatmeal or boiled eggs. Cereal for my daughter would have been nice. The rest of my family seemed fine, but I felt that my bed was very hard and woke up with sore shoulders and hips. All in all, I'd say this was a solid middle-of-the road hotel. No big complaints, but no big wow factor. We had a great group rate, so I was satisfied with the choice.
