Our Family of 4 booked a 4 night stay here between Christmas and New Year's for the Alamo Bowl game. What a great choice! The location is fantastic, walking distance to everything. 5 min to the riverwalk,10-15 min to Alamodome, 10 min to the Alamo. The room itself is on the small side but has nicer finishes, large flat screen TV, free WiFi, marble bathroom, comfy triple sheeted beds. I booked a balcony room and we really enjoyed the unobstructed views of La Villita, Tower of the Americas and part of down town. Granted there is a parking lot below but it was still nice. Staff was always friendly and helpful. The breakfast was perfect and the Texas shape belgium waffles were tasty and unique! Overall would reccomend to all.

My husband and I bought the O'Brien hotel deal on living social. The deal included free parking. When I called to make the reservation the lady I spoke with said if there wasn't enough room in their parking we would be reimbursed for whatever payment we made to park. When we arrived we paid for parking and asked to be reimbursed. The manager told us "sorry we can't give you any money back. I can move my truck but you have to stay here and not leave." these was part of the deal. The whirlpool didn't work properly. The shower would randomly come on. We had to get up at 4 to put more money in for parking. At 5 we heard very loud noises coming from above our room. It sounds like something was falling through the roof. We were really looking forward to this stay but we didn't get what we were promised. The staff was very rude to top it all off. We heard the manager talking about us as we left.

I was fortunate to find this lovely boutique hotel, only 2 blocks from the Riverwalk, with magical holiday lights and caroling boats. The manager was a sweetheart, and as this was a special time, the large, comfortable room greeted us with roses on the pillow, and wine on the credenza! Great way to start off the evening. After a dinner on the Riverwalk of pasta and wine, back to the hotel for a whirlpool bath. Couldn't be finer!

I booked this place because of the price honestly and the reviews here said it was pretty good when I breezed through them quickly, it was super last minute for a quick place to stay after our Christmas Party downtown. It was fantastic! clean and modernized, super cute claw foot tub in the bathroom and free breakfast! The location was also great, central to downtown and just a one minute walk from the riverwalk and La Villita! Highly recommend this place, but be ready to pay for parking $10 per night. No bar or restaraunt on site though, but who cares when you have the entire riverwalk to choose a place to eat and drink just a step away.
