We came here last week for one night and we found the staff to be very welcoming and the help with luggage very good, our room was on the 32nd floor so we had a great view, the room was very clean and large with a very impressive decor, I would say though that it would have been nice to have had a nicer bar to sit in as we thought that the main bar to be a bit noisey and lacking in sophistication as a hotel like this should have a quieter lounge with confy chairs, but other wise this is very nice comfortable place to sleep!

Drove in for a convention and vacation for a weekend. The hotel was packed but the staff were very helpful and accomodating. It is right on the riverwalk and convient to everything.

This is a large convention hotel located adjacent to a downtown shopping mall, the River Walk, and just a few blocks from the Alamo. This is a large tower on the edge of downtown (in the direction of the Tower of the Americas) and my room had a beautiful view of the city. The room was large with the furnishings and amenities fairly typical of nicer Marriotts. The hotel is sort of on the edge of the tourist district so you will need to walk a few blocks to be in the middle of the restaurant/entertainment district, but it's a fairly short walk. The walk may seem longer in the summer, though, so being able to duck directly into the mall for restaurants such as Mortons and Fogo de Chao is a real plus.

My husband and I recently spent two nights at the Marriott River Center in San Antonio, Texas. Our room was on the 31st floor and had the most amazing view! From our room we had a great view of the San Antonio skyline that included the famous Riverwalk.

The hotel's location is remarkable! We were within walking distance of the Convention Center, the Alamo and we only had to go down the escalator to step outside and onto the famous Riverwalk and the River Center Mall.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I asked for extra foam pillows when I made my reservation and they were in the room when we arrived! I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and I will be staying there again on my next visit to San Antonio, Texas.
