Seminar for work brings me here. Wish I had a choice where to stay as this would not have been my first choice and here's why:
Outdated rooms. Initially thought room was nice until I looked at my white socks and saw how filthy this floor had made them. Decor downstairs/lobby was really nice so i expected the same type decor throughout...sadly mistaken. Quite clear this hotel spent all it's funds updating the first floor while the rooms are in desperate need of updating. Cracks in shower cauking...white popcorn ceiling...dirty carpet/bathroom floor...used bar of face soap sitting on sink when I checked in.
After noting the minor oversights, I decided not to even attempt the glasses or fridge. One of my coworkers said her fridge was disgusting and not clean. Ugh.
I'm laying in this bed wishing I didn't have to as I'm sure sheets are probably used or poorly tended to.
This place has some serious budget issues, is quite clear. Priorities should be on guest rooms not JUST the lobby. False advertising indeed.
...can't wait to see what breakfast consists of in the morning.
