It's a shame that I am just now getting around to writing this! We got married here in 2010 and to this day are so happy with our choice to forgo the huge, expensive wedding and opt for a small, quaint ceremony and family reception. Kelly and Gregg contacted us for weeks before out stay via email and phone making sure every single detail and concern was taken care of. We greatly appreciate this. Kelly even offered to make extra boutonnieres for our fathers when we expressed concern. No problem, no extra charge. We were nervous to be having our wedding at a place we had never visited before, but the moment we checked in we were put at peace. Hey Kelly, can you come make breakfast for us every morning? We would really appreciate it! Seriously y'all, the woman can cook! The ONLY two thing we look back on and even slightly think negatively about was the house next door which was pretty run down (but an explanation let us know that is is under renovation or whatnot), and the reverend who married us wasn't exactly our favorite. He spoke in this loud, old English, Monty Python-esque accent that kept going in and out. It didn't ruin our wedding, but we look back and kind of feel as if our vows were a joke and not romantic or meaningful, but more a show or act. Regardless, we plan on visiting again next year. These inn keepers are incredible and I advise anyone traveling in the SA area to visit. They are doing everything right!
