Hotel Front desk competency is excellent and friendly. Lobby is fine. Breakfast is excellent, although the 7:30 am start on the weekends is late for people that need to get going. Rooms were outdated and average in cleanliness. Beds were VERY comfortable. Room was very big. Sign on mirror and key card envelope said we had to request "light cleaning service" on weekends, so we did and the front desk said, yes, no problem. So our beds were made and bath towels were replaced, but not washcloths and not shampoo. Not earth shattering, but annoying. Room has kitchenette and refrigerator. Location is about 2 blocks from Alamo, Riverwalk and across the parking lot from the Alamodome. Fitness room was fine, but tv was very small. Nice perk if you're staying a few days is that guest laundry room is free.

I recently stayed here in December with my family. The staff is friendly, the accommodations are nice, but not spectacular, and the location is great, especially if you are going to an event at the Alamo Dome. However: One of the elevators was out of service for over 4 days, the breakfast was the same everyday, The gym equipment was old and 2 machines were out of order, the pool was more like a wading pool (You can almost jump to the other side), and the parking lot is outside in an unfenced lot a block away. Stay here for convenience or if you get a good price, but there are probably better options elsewhere.

Everything about this hotel was great, especially the staff. Comfortable beds and very quiet. Close to everything we wanted to see and do in San Antonio. My daughter and her family met me there and we had only booked one room but they upgraded us to a suite for no extra charge, and we hadn't even asked.

The only shortcoming was the elevator. One was out of order and so it was a little slow. Everything else was perfect.

I stayed there for a meeting at the convention center. The hotel is very nice, the help are very friendly. The walk over to the convention center goes past the Alamodome. It is about 1/2 a mile over to the convention center. The breakfast is good.
