Just checked out of the hotel...our family arrived to rooms still being cleaned for hours..no rooms available, then later after being checked in, the sheets had hair!@#$% thats is more than gross..its the epitome of laziness...who wants to sleep in some strangers sweat! the tubs were dirty...outline of scum from previous user still evident...everything in the room from tables to anything and every surface was dirty and dusty...was in room for 3 days the room was never vacuumed...the cleaning lady comes in and sprays the floor carpet with some liquid leaving me and visiting friends drowning in fumes and in respiratory distress...This is my first Holiday INN..never ever..better stick to Marriot and Hilton and Hyatt and others...
oooh forgot one more thing. DONOT fall for the free breakfast...its cereal(frosty) and coffee and porched eggs...
Pay more somewhere and buy your own breakfast...not worth it. But to be fair, they have free parking.
Last thing, the king size beds are actually queen size(that means the hotel isnot honest about their facility and are reaping you off..just book a queen size( hope it is not a full size in real life)..

What can I say, I wish I had seen previous reviews. We stayed at the weekend and were at the far end of the hotel, furthest from the noisey bar across the street! Yet, Friday night the music was on till midnight and Saturday till 12:40am, although the reception staff did file a complaint with police!
Although the hotel was basically ok, it is not in the most convenient location for walking to the downtown/riverwalk area! Breakfast and parking were difficult due to large school/youth groups with the parking lot filled with various busses!
Breakfast not great, limited items and pancake machine out of action. For the rates charged, the hotel didn't live up to the rate. Staff although polite, did not seem interested in assisting guests. If you want a great location and value your sleep stay elsewhere. There are hotels charging similar rates without the drawbacks!

We stayed on a Saturday night and had a hard time going to sleep. Beware of motorcyle bar playing music until midnight during our stay. We heard from another guest that this also happened Friday night. Police did nothing as it was not a priority. We will not be staying at this location again when coming to San Antonio in the future.

For a short, family trip, this hotel was in an good location in relation to most of the attractions (Riverwalk, zoo, Sea world). Staff was professional and gave us a positive guest service experience when we asked to move rooms because of pool noise. The staff moved us the next day to a room on the other side of the hotel, however, there was a bar across that side of the street so the road noise was also loud. This was nothing the staff could have avoided and it didn't ruin our experience.

The only negative we experienced was that the one and only computer they hotel offered for guests to use did not have internet connection. The connection in the rooms with our laptop worked perfectly fine!

Breakfast was great and I was impressed with the manager who asked a guest without a shirt on to go back to his room to find one. I thought that was respectful for her to ask for the other guests eating.
