I initially booked 2 nights at this hotel, due to speaking at an Educational Conference. The hotel was SO quiet and COMFORTABLE, that I stayed a third night. I spend 75 plus nights per year in hotels and am thrilled when I have a good night's rest because the hotel is QUIET. I even chatted with the front desk about this concept and was told that they screen their large groups to make sure there is a responsible adult that will ensure the children will get into their rooms and not run wild. I was SO impressed! They certainly recognize their business clients.
I had a paper on my door every morning and used the business center and the laundry facilities....super! There are quite a few restaurants within 3-5 miles and also a FED EX and Post Office...perfect for shipping! I WILL stay here again...thanks so much! Oh. they also have a Wednesday night BBQ ....FREE!

This hotel was an excellent stay at a very reasonable price!
The king bed with lots of pillows was like heaven - we are looking to get one for home. The room was spotless. The service warm, friendly and helpful. Nice sized fridge, big tv, wireless internet with rockin signal, all the bathroom amneties you will ever need with plenty of thick towels and nice adjustable shower head. Located close to everything yet just enough outside of town to escape the city quickly. Highly recommend Martha's Cantina down the street for fabulous mexican food at an excellent price! Dont try to save a few bucks on inferior economy lodging! Next time we are in town to visit family we will be staying here for sure!

Stayed here one weekday night in October 2006. Located in North San Antonio near US 281 and Loop 1604. Near lots of retail and entertainment.

Room was standard but with small fridge. I liked the large size. I would have enjoyed a sofa as the former poster did but furnishing was limited to 2 doubles, desk, office chair, and straightback chair. Plenty of large bath towels. Good pillows. Small on site fitness room but they offer free passes to an off-site fitness center.

I was unable to get wireless connection with my laptop and I am somewhat technical. No tech support provided.

Room was clean but the room and common areas did show a few signs of deferred maintenance.

Customer Appreciation Night (Wednesday) offered grilled saugage links and hamburgers, along with soda, beer and wine.

Average breakfast buffet. Friendly Staff. Pretty much your average Holiday Inn Express

My highschool sweetheart and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Airport North over the Memorial Day weekend. We hadn't seen each other in years and thought that this would be a great hotel to meet at. I do not regret staying here one moment.
This hotel has a shuttle service to and from the airport, which was a major plus for me. Airport traffic drives me crazy! Best part of the airport shuttle was that I was allowed to go the airport to pick him up and to take him back (no charge) Also, the shuttle took us to a bus stop where we then took a bus to downtown San Antonio. When we were ready to be picked up, all we had to do was to call the front desk and then they picked us up.
The room was very clean. We had a suite that also had a couch. Very nice.
The hotel staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Even the housekeeping staff would say Hello to us everytime we walked by.
On a scale of 1-10, I rate the Holiday Inn Express Airport North an 11 !!!
