close to airport easy access to 281 hwy.. friendly service..easy ck in / clean room however when i enter the room i smell bleach in the bathroom.
I will come back again at this location.

We arrived in San Antonio on 1/1/2012 and checked in our room and the bed was broken down in the middle, the box springs had a stain on it and when we pulled back the covers the comforter was stained as well. I was ready to leave and forfeit my room fees but the front desk put us in a room upstairs that was just enough to get by with for one night. It smelled like someone sprayed a bunch of stuff to cover up the smell of smoke but at least there were no stains on the beds and it looked clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and tried to accommodate us. Just an FYI, I'm usually the non-picky one and can stay just about anywhere...just not here!

I chose this hotel solely on the location & value. I was pleasantly surprised by the large, nicely decorated & very clean room. Even more important, the beds were very comfortable. The grounds were well-maintained and I felt safe taking a brisk morning walk in the area.
Linda, the front desk representative, gave me great directions to every place I wanted to go and arranged transportation to the airport for me. She had a great smile for everyone and truly seemed to enjoy her position. I would definitely stay here again.

I checked out a few other hotels before I decided to stay at the Red Roof Inn. Thanks to Carlos, the front desk agent, he made my stay there stress free and enjoyable. His knowledge of the city made it easier for me get around town, shop and dine! Carlos also recommended the suite to me, which I would suggest for anyone that's going to be in the area for a long period of time or just wants a nice clean and professional experience.
