Our GPS couldn't find this motel. We'd visited The Alamo and drove about 5 miles along the IH35, the address on the website. Then we went back to the Days Inn near The Alamo, they told us so many people go there because they can't find it either. Set off for the correct address. The clerks were not very friendly, just told us the correct address and said we should have phoned. We are English travellers and have no cell phones with us - too expensive. The room was old and shabby, no lid on the toilet which we don't like and usually find it's the Motel 6s who do that. Always afraid of dropping things down it. The bath wouldn't drain properly so we were standing in each other's shower water, not good. The beds were OK. The pool was dirty, lots of dead insects floating on the surface and at the bottom: we didn't stay in long! The breakfast was good, however, cereal, waffle maker, fresh fruit, juice, bread, toaster.

The lady at the front desk was very rude! We paid for the room online stating we had 2 adults and 2 kids but when she saw our kids she said our room was not meant for 4 people , even though it had king size bed and a fold out sofa, so we paid 17. extra and she was still rude about it. The rooms were dirty and even when we got home i was checking our bank statement online and they charged another 16. They say they have no record of it so we are just out of luck. So the room was sooooo not worth what you have to pay. Do not stay here!

My family and I were coming back from a 24 car drive from down south. We were too tired to drive the remaining 13 hours so we booked a couple of rooms in this hotel because it was the only one that had vacancy and wasn't charging an arm for a room. I was pleasantly suprised at the large rooms with sitting area they had. The beds where very comfortable, one of them squeaked a little, but nothing excessive. The sheets where clean, towels clean, floors clean no stain on any of our stuff. The only thing that I would change is, having the doors in between guest rooms. The lady next to us was coughing for a little bit there and I was worried she might cough up a lung. Anyways the hotel itself was excellent we have stayed in many, many hotels that are much more expensive and leave us regretting our decision, this was not one of them. Although it's next to the highway we slept great, it could have been due to the fatigue or the great windows, who knows. I am keeping their card and staying there again on our next trip down south this year this time I will take plenty of pictures of it.

We arrived at this hotel to be greated by a prostitute at the door and a group of 15 gangsters all standing around the stairwell, no kidding. The night manager had charged us an extra 40 dollars for the stay. After going up to the room, still seriously debating staying, we found a door that opened with a simple jiggle. Needless to say, we told the manager we were not staying. After leaving the manager called, accusing us of being racist because the men standing around the staircase were black. After informing him we were not staying at we feared for our safety and hanging up, he called a second time to inform us we were not to call cooperate "there is nothing they can do". He then gave us the wrong name when we ask for his name to complain to coperate. HORRIBLE HOTEL, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!
