We have visited San Antonio at least 5 times over the past 9 years and we usually stay in vacation homes, but this trip was so last minute we didn't have enough time to find one. This hotel was everything we could have asked for, other than not having a kitchen. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely stay again if I had to!

We stayed here, found a coupon in the traveler discount magazine and got a room for a couple of nights. The staff was SO very friendly, the room was nice, but hotter on the 2nd floor than on the first floor. Also, the circulation in the suite wasn't that great. The kids slept in the sofa bed, and they were hot and not totally confortable while sleeping. This was because the only air being circulated in was from the other room, that was blocked off pretty good. As a result the bedroom was freezing, since we had it cranked up trying to cool off the kids. The big black Texas crickets were all over the pool, which we didn't expect, and it scared off the kids a little, definately make it harder for them to enjoy the pool. My 2 year old got a hold of the hotel pen and colored on the ottoman in the room, which really was just in the way and didn't really seem to go in the room. We had moved it out of the way when we arrived, because it was so out of place and just took up space, but she of course found it and wrote on it. We notifed the hotel, and I expected a cleaning charge, but not a full $150 to replace the ottoman. They said they don't really charge to clean it, but they charge to replace it. If we would have had room in the car, I would have taken the dumb thing with me, since I bought it, just on prinicpal! I was diappointed there wasn't another option for that, as it cost nearly as much to buy their in the way ottoman, as it did to stay for 2 nights.

Comfortable and Clean Room. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was quiet and dark...so overslept and missed the free breakfast.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. Anything we needed or asked for was taken care of immediately. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.
