A pleasant surprise for our family. We are a family of 4 (husband, wife, 12 year old girl, 9 year old boy). We visited this hotel during spring break (March 17th) of 2005. We wanted a quick overnight hotel for a trip to Fiesta Texas and had a very good experience here.
It's pretty convenient (on the access road of I-10) just south of Fiesta Texas - 2 exits away. It has interior corridors and nice rooms. They were clean and well kept. The sink is speparate from the toilet/shower (a godsend for my family). Large TV, queen size beds, and even an outside window that will open for fresh air. The front rooms' windows will face the highway, but the back rooms' windows will face a wooded area.
The breakfast was pretty sparce (only toast, some doughnuts, and a juice dispenser), and this would be the only drawback. We paid 59.99 without taxes, but beware that San Antonio has very high hotel taxes.
Pros - very convenient to Fiesta Texas, spacious clean rooms, and separate sink area;
Cons - high taxes and limited breakfast.
