Dishonorable people and hair in the bathtub made my stay a lot less enjoyable. I found this Super 8 through Google Maps and booked it due to its proximity to the rehabilitation center where my Grandpa was staying with a broken leg. When I found it on Google Maps, there was a coupon for "20% off the best available rate on a 2 night or more stay." When I called to book the room at the number listed in Google Maps, I was told that I would need to present the coupon to the front desk. When I checked in, the guy at the front desk said I needed to ask the guy who worked after 9 a.m. the next morning to do it, because he didn't know how, but he ran my card for the full amount. Then, in the morning I was finally told that I already had their best rate (despite my pointing out that it said the coupon was a discount off the "best available rate"), and that they would not honor this coupon. To me, if you are in business, you honor the discounts offered, even if you don't like them and don't want to participate. The coupon said this was a participating locations, so I believe they ought to have honored it.
There were also multiple hairs left in the bathtub and when I pulled out a washcloth to wash my face, I found a bug or something squished inside of it. Washcloth #2 appeared safe, as did the towel I used, so I figure this squished bug was probably just some little guy who crawled in at the wrong time and left me with an unfortunate incident. Otherwise, the room seemed clean and the bed was comfortable.
